Fresh Hel

Redoing some of the god art for Ketucari in addition to making some art for those who don't have any yet! I did some of the god art really quickly when we first opened and wasn't really pleased with it. Hel is the first to get a redesign! 

I've been testin a new method for critter design, which is doing a small roughly 2 in x 1 in thumbnail to get the pose and rough design and scanning it in. Then I blow it up really big and start drawing straight over the thumb, refining as I go! This piece started out as this and was gradually refined with lots of drawing and erasing: 

I have a bunch more waiting for the same treatment I don't know how obvious it is, but inspiration for Hel's head came from Skullgreymon
